“To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often.”
Winston Churchill
This quote pertains to some things, and not to others. When it comes to your advertising plan, you should pick a strategy and let it take root, reach your intended audience and see if it starts to have an ROI. Usually, you aren’t going to put together an ad buy that only includes three spots on one day and have amazing results. After today, my career has taken an unexpected, and amazing turn. I will have to say goodbye to some things that I have been doing and it is bittersweet, however, in going forward I have been given an amazing opportunity that I am extremely excited about. I will talk more about opportunity/risk/reward ratio tomorrow as it pertains to advertising. I wanted to let all of you know though that I will be entering more of a 8-5 office environment and will be cutting down my afternoon quote posts to 3 times per week (Mon, Wed, Fr), and they will be posted in the evening at roughly 7:00 PM. I will continue to update with a post every morning however. Come back tomorrow to hear a little more about my new position, and to hear about how opportunities with very little risk in advertising usually have very minimal, or at best adequate returns.
Cheers,
